Phase 1 — Book Plan
Market discovery: the platform researches your idea and proposes a positioning before any writing.

Phase 1 turns your description into a researched plan: who the book is for, how it should be positioned, and what makes it different from what is already selling.
- Write a clear description of the book in the "Book Description" box (at least a sentence or two — the start button stays disabled for very short descriptions).
- Click the start button and confirm the credit cost shown in the dialog ("Run Market Discovery").
- Review the plan. Edit anything you disagree with — edits are free — then move on to Phase 2.
Quick Start projects
If you opened a Quick Start example, you will first be asked whether to research the example brief or use your own idea. Choosing your own idea costs nothing until you start Phase 1 with your description.
