Refund Policy

1. Credit Packs (One-Time Purchases)

  • Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits from that pack have been used.
  • Partially used credit packs are non-refundable. Once you use any credits from a pack, the purchase is final.
  • Welcome credits (50 free credits on signup) are complimentary and not eligible for cash refund.

2. Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing, but your current billing period remains active until its end date.
  • Subscription credits received in the current billing cycle are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your first subscription charge and have not used any subscription credits, you may request a full refund of that charge.
  • Downgrading to a lower tier takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

3. Failed Generations

If an AI generation fails due to a system error (not user error), the credits for that operation are automatically refunded to your balance. You do not need to contact support — the system handles this automatically.

If you believe credits were deducted for a failed generation that was not automatically refunded, please contact support with your project details.

4. Quality Disputes

KDP Builder provides AI-assisted content creation tools. The quality of generated content depends on many factors including your inputs, book type, and AI model performance. We do not guarantee specific output quality and do not offer refunds based on subjective quality assessments.

Each phase of the book creation pipeline includes review and approval steps. We encourage you to review outputs at each phase before proceeding.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request an eligible refund, contact us at [email protected] with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date and amount of the purchase
  • The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact support first — we are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
