Best practices for a book that sells
Habits that save credits and produce cleaner, more publishable books.

- Spend time on the description and blueprint. Edits there are free; every downstream generation follows them.
- Draft one chapter first and read it before "Draft All Remaining" — if the voice is off, fix the blueprint, not forty chapters.
- Finalize the interior before generating covers so the spine width is right the first time.
- Use per-page regenerate and version history for illustrated books instead of regenerating the whole book.
- Choose trim size and hardcover before building — trim changes trigger rebuilds.
- Keep the tab open during long runs; if you must leave, come back and refresh — progress is saved.
